Privacy Policy

Sales CountUp (“the App”) provides customizable counters for Shopify stores. This policy explains how EC Apps Sp z o o (“we”) processes information when you install or use the App.

Information we collect

Through Shopify, we access and process:

• Store information: your store domain to identify your store and your email address to contact you.
• Products (write_products): product information to display product lists and add counter-related metadata. We retain only product IDs.
• Themes (read_themes): theme information to support the App’s storefront integration.
• Orders (read_orders, read_all_orders): order history, including orders older than 60 days, to calculate statistics. This includes item identifiers, prices, quantities, and customer email addresses used to count unique customers.

We do not retain other customer personal information. We also process App settings and information you provide when contacting support.

Cookies and technical logs: We don't use browser cookies for marketing purposes. Auth cookies are set to provide the app functionality.

How we use information

We use information to operate counters, provide support, communicate with merchants, and maintain and improve the App. We may send merchants product or service updates, subject to applicable consent requirements and the ability to opt out.

We process customer information on the merchant’s behalf and under their instructions. For merchant information we control, we rely on contractual necessity, legitimate interests in operating and securing our service, legal obligations, or consent where required.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where legally required.

Service providers and processing locations: We rely on the cloud infrastructure hosted in USA and Canada.

Data retention

We retain information only as needed for the purposes described above:

• Support records and technical logs: 12 months.
• Backups: 6 months.

We handle customer and store deletion requests received through Shopify. Information required by law is retained only for the applicable statutory period.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent.

Contact help@elastic-soft.com to exercise your rights. Customers of stores using the App should contact the relevant merchant; we assist merchants with these requests.

We may update this policy and revise the date above. We will provide additional notice where legally required.
