Warnify Pro Warnings (“the App”), provided by EC Apps Sp z o o (“we”), helps Shopify merchants display customizable product warnings on Shopify storefront.

Information we process

We process your store domain, merchant email address, App settings, and information you provide when contacting support.

The App requests these Shopify permissions:

• read_locales: read store languages to support language-specific warnings.
• read_themes: read theme information to support storefront integration.
• write_products: read products for selection and add warning-related product metadata.
• unauthenticated_read_product_inventory: read product and variant availability to support inventory-based warning rules.
• unauthenticated_read_product_tags: read product tags for warning targeting.
• unauthenticated_read_product_listings: read storefront product, variant, and collection information to display relevant warnings.

We retain product IDs and warning settings.

These permissions do not grant access to order history or customer account records.

Location, cookies, and technical data

When a merchant enables location-based warnings, the App uses a geolocation service to determine a visitor’s location and stores the result in a browser cookie.

Where required, consent is obtained before using non-essential cookies. Visitors can manage cookies through their browser and any available store consent controls.

How we use information

We use information to display and target warnings, maintain the App, provide support, and communicate with merchants. Product updates are sent subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

For personal data we control, we rely on contractual necessity, legitimate interests in operating and securing our services, legal obligations, or consent where required.

Sharing and processing locations

We do not sell personal data. Service providers may process information as necessary to operate the App, and we may disclose information when legally required.

We rely on cloud infrastructure hosted in USA and Canada.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only as needed to provide the App and meet applicable legal obligations.

Store information and App settings are deleted on uninstallation. Support records and technical logs are retained for 12 months, and backup copies expire within 12 months.

We respond to applicable customer and store data requests received through Shopify. Any legally required retention is limited to the necessary information and statutory period.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal data, object to processing, or withdraw consent.
